It's closed now! So sad! These biscuits were life-altering.

This is the spot for fresh biscuits and an awesome breakfast sandwich. I love the hot chicken sandwich. The sauce is so good, the chicken is fresh, and it's filling! The bacon egg and cheese is delectable, too. Eating in is always a good option. They have poetry on the walls from a local poet whose book is available for purchase at the counter. It's a perfect spot for a lazy weekend morning. Enjoy!

So bomb! Even with just butter and jam, the biscuits are so good. They are HUGE. You really can't finish one. I usually get the breakfast biscuits and eat about half and finish the rest later. If you are picking up, call ahead! On the weekends this place can get packed and it is kind of small and there is no place to stand. The service is always great and the coffee is good too. Maybe I will try the hash browns next time. ok. bye.

I love my Yelpers because they were right on target with this place. Excellent biscuits - this is a real biscuit - not a McDonald's or Popeye's biscuit but a real full size soft fluffy biscuit. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with a hash brown and coffee. The biscuit was so good that I had to hold it with 2 hands and I constantly had to wipe the crumbs from my mouth (don't want anyone to think that I don't have manners). The hash brown was a patty but it wasn't a solid patty it was shredded potatoes made into the patty. I would definitely come back again probably not on a weekend because the place is small and cozy.

Hands down, the best biscuits you're going to get not from your Southern grandma's kitchen. All the sandwiches are made to order and deliciously warm and melt in your mouth. The pastries are pretty solid too. The shop is small but if you're looking for a coffee shop to work out of, it's usually pretty quiet and it's rare that you can't get a table during the week. Table service is super quick too if you're sitting down to hang out for a bit. If you think you might add them to your regular rotation, they offer punch cards (and punch your card for ANY order -- not just coffee).

The egg and cheese on a biscuit is everything I hoped it would be, and has quickly become part of my weekly routing (unfortunately for my healthy-eating goals). The biscuit is giant, fresh and flaky; the eggs are fluffy and seasoned with chives; the cheese and gooey and not too thick. Best of all, it's only $3.75! The crowd is a true cross-section of the neighborhood, from Harlem Hospital staff to 20somethings/college students to moms with a kid or two. The wifi is fast and it's generally pretty chill, making this a great place to get some work done. I'm sure the coffee is delicious, but I haven't yet been able to bring myself to buy the cold brew at $4 a cup and it's been too warm inside to comfortably drink hot coffee. Room for improvement: backs on the bar stools at the window, and lower prices on cold drinks ($4 cold brew, $3.50 iced tea, $2 can of seltzer). Some might also prefer more air conditioning, though I don't mind an indoor temp in the mid-70s in July.

Not quite sure why I haven't written a review for this biscuit heaven. This is exactly what this area needed! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all. They open at 7am on weekdays and it is enough time to grab something on the way to work. Their prices are reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck! A bacon, egg, and cheese runs you about $5 dollars. Their eggs are light and fluffy, the bacon has perfect crisp, and the biscuit is made by whatever higher being or spirit you believe in. On the weekends be prepared to wait and all the tables to be full. But don't worry because it is worth the wait. They have a great coffee selection and a wonderful barista ready to make your coffee dreams come true.

I finished eating like a long time ago and Im officially still doing my happy dance. I finished all but about one bite that I couldn't manage, possibly due to my coffee. It was delicious and so worth the trek to pick up and walk back home to enjoy in good company. The biscuit is huge but lightweight and if you get the egg based ones the chives complement the eggs and biscuit perfectly. I prefer the sausage to the bacon one--and that says a lot. The spicy chicken is delicious as a breakfast or non breakfast item. Non greasy and delicious all around! The staff is very friendly. They went the extra mile to ensure the order was correct and came out in a timely manner. The to go containers and wrapping are perfect. Each item is individually wrapped and holds well. I have not tried their coffee but if it is anything like the food, then this place is getting all of my breakfast money (as long as I continue to work out). The place itself is extremely clean, organized and comfortable. The atmosphere is inviting and open. Good for all types and you will certainly see me here!
